Doctoral Programmes

Research that goes beyond the known.

A doctoral programme is not simply more study. It is an original contribution to a field of knowledge, carried out over several years under expert supervision. The decision to pursue a doctorate requires clarity about why you are doing it, what you intend to research, and how it connects to your long-term goals.

We work with doctoral applicants at the earliest stages of their thinking helping them shape a research proposal, identify suitable supervisors, and choose institutions where their work will receive the right level of support.

Applicants typically hold a master's degree or equivalent research qualification. For practice-based programmes such as the DBA and EdD, substantial professional experience is also considered. A preliminary research proposal is required as part of most doctoral applications.

English Language

Applicants whose first language is not English will typically need to demonstrate proficiency through IELTS, TOEFL or an equivalent test. Minimum scores vary by institution and programme. We advise on the most appropriate route for your situation.
